Of course ANWR curde w/b used in this country. Assuming its similar to Prudhoe Bay crude - all of that is used in the US and Prudhoe Bay is in production decline. Development of ANWR would offset Prudhoe Bay's decline. Can you not understand that ANWR is not the way to go? We need to buy time NOW.....not 5-10 years from NOW. The only way we can bring the price of oil done NOW is through conservation. This nation has got to come together and reduce its consumption of oil......NOW. Our leaders have to stand up and play to the pride of all things American and ask us to do what is the only patriotic thing to do which to stop driving cars like we have oil to spare. And if people do not comply, our leaders have to be ready to enforce that conservation through the establishment of laws. Sadly, none of the current leadership in DC is making such talk. As a nation, we are pretty much morally bankrupt.
