bearshark, >>You are right about wondering what is next. Intel keeps churning out wonderful product and AMD and Cyrix try to keep up--and to some extent they are. Microsoft keeps churning out its lines and IBM and Corel compete to match or surpass them with their suites.

One thing I feel comfortable with is the Intel 64 bit processor is going to give this PC industry its next leap in technology. I worked with Cray back in the old days developing the first super computers, which were 64 bit machines. The 64 bit capability will give you and I a huge power advancement. One company that I think will bring its operating system to this processor is Apple. If they do this and we have a standard applications interface it could get interesting. Apple does have a seemless, and more easy to use system. Things will change we just don't know how.

BTW, what do you think of this market? The boys at Merrill Lynch think we will have one great big run for the roses during Q4. This is comming from the qunatitive group. Their model is now more bullish than it has been in its history. The model goes back to the 60's, and has been real accurate..scary.
