That's not the problem. Shell has been working on its in situ process since the mid 90s. Eight more applications were awarded land by the BLS I think two years ago. Oil shale has been America's next great idea since the 1920s. Billions were spent in the 1980s to make it happen. Unfortunately, its an event waiting to happen.

Were this property opened up for mining companies would be lining up to get at it. But nobody is going to develop massive infrastructure to do it when they cannot even get access to mine it.

Like I said areas have already been opened up to companies......I think two years ago.

Your homework: to figure out why oil shale isn't working......its due tomorrow. Chop! Chop!
