lol. "the department of corrections owns you... The only job I ever quit without notice was when I was young in Oregon. I was thinning trees with a chain saw and the foreman started to chew me out over silly stuff during a break. I reminded him the work was extremely dangerous, I wasn't his slave, and I had high production, but if he didn't like the way I did things, he should pick up the chain saw and do it himself because I quit. He told me I couldn't leave the contract. I laughed and told him I don't do chain gangs but if I picked up that saw again, it would be to shove it up his ass, so he should heed my prior advice. His mouth hung open with no words coming out as I peered over my shoulder, skipping down the mountain. Normally I get along great with coworkers and supervisors but I didn't like being told I couldn't leave the job.
