Less_ The belief that the earth is six thousand years old is more common than you believe, I'm afraid, and not just in the Southern Egyptian desert. And views that are not quite that extreme but still denying the basic facts of evolution are common. Perhaps you don't recall the moment during one of the Republican Primary "debates" when the moderator asked the candidates to raise their hands if they didn't believe in evolution. Brownback, Huckabee and Tancredo did so. The people who built the Creation Museum are well educated. But they are trying to teach things that, in my view, are scientifically questionable.
