What is the difference? We are talking about a capablity of launching missles. And we could never be sure exactly what kind of missels they were buidling. We would never allow it. Democratic or Republican! Monroe Doctrine. We were prepared to have a nuclear war with Russia over Cuba. Big risk for no reason. But further more, we should let Europe deal with iran, and Iraq. They have much more to fear form those countries and Iran's missles can easily reach Europe. They cannot reach us. I would bet if we were not doing Europes work they would be doing it. they also have large muslim populations. We do not. It is stupid war strategy to do what we should be making Europe do. Sooner or later they will have to act. We are wasting our military and money doing Europes work. We should be focused on China and Russia!! Iraq was nothing more than a brush fire.
