A black hole is a singularity, or if you include the event horizon, and perhaps even the accretion disk as part of the black hole, than a black hole contains a singularity.

See en.wikipedia.org

Singularity implies taking up no space. The mass is compacted to a point, arguably zero space, or perhaps a planks length of space, ( en.wikipedia.org ).

"Singularity" isn't limited to gravitational singularities, for examples see en.wikipedia.org , but I don't think your talking about one of the other types of singularity.
