i put down moth balls a few decades back.. do not remember where i read it.. the skunk ate the things and died. found him out in back yard. you may want to check to see if they like moth balls? i spread them out on the lawn this was back in 1972. do not know if dangerous to other animals, but back then we didn't even have the money for a window air conditioner and it was unbearable as this skunk would come bye the area every night.
