Actually the seismic testing of the leased offshore areas in California, and test wells were completed by Chevron prior to the lease date in roughly 1979.

It's merely a process of placing production wells, connecting collector piping. The processing facility would likely be an existing Chevron tanker facility at Point Estero.

I'd estimate the project would take 4 to 5 years until significant production. This schedule could be jump-started by moving rigs and crews from other existing Chevron projects.
