The PR on June 5 actually looks as big as the Eaton order. And both are already in production with this one set to ramp up very soon- "beginning in the third quarter" and the Eaton one set to finish PPAP by July 31.
If LACC is commercially viable that is.
Again, the recent PR stating Management is shaping up and putting LACC on the front burner with transparency and shareholder value in mind, that will be the context of everything going forward.
To tell you the truth, it could just be as simple as the Majors finally being ready to give Americhip a shot and let them prove that they can in fact be a supplier for the ridiculously lower bid they have been barking about all these years.
With the last few PR's for Eaton, truck axles and camshafts, this appears to be the case. IMHO!
_____________

IMPLEMENTATION

The successful completion of the prototype production cycle could lead to a full fledged production contract of 15,000 pairs of truck axle components per year for this new 2009 truck, with production beginning in the third quarter of the calendar year 2008.

AmeriChip is currently in advanced discussions and negotiations with a number of other blue chip clients for LACC technology implementation across a number products.
