I found more current data: eia.doe.gov I took the data and plotted $/st vs Btu/st and did a linear regression giving me the equation: $/st = 0.0238*Btu/st - 203.14 with R^2 = 0.8327 Using GX.v's average of 9,200 Btu/st in the 22.6 m thick seam yields a market price of $15.82. biz.yahoo.com So, what's Mr Market say it's worth in the ground?
