You may have scanned the document at a different resolution, and/or your system may have used a less aggressive compression setting on the jpeg conversion.

There's simply no way to tell from "fuzzy auras" whether the small, highly compressed jpeg on the web represents the original document or not.

I know that Obama's campaign put the document on a web site claiming it was real. I can't really imagine why they would have used a forgery for that purpose.
