You know what....there is no easy solution to wildlife being killed. It's unfortunate for sure. I travel a lot everyday with my job and do you know how many birds and squirrels cross my path and I do shed a tear as sensitive as that may sound. I think we need to think outside the box for our energy problem. As I said we can drill and dig but those fuels will dry up eventually. We have technology to develop new ways which will create new jobs and a new economy. I am all for nuclear power. I shudder to think what my electric and gas bill will be this next winter.
