"Nothing like watching someone justify a one day loss in stock price of 10% as being a positive!"

The previous day, AAPL had gained some so maybe, rough calculating,
we lost like 8%.
Ok, nobody is saying that's good.

However, IMHO the stock showed some strength, if you compare AAPL's
bad numbers, with CPQ's good numbers and SUNW not meeting the estimates numbers and the comparatively behavior of the 3 stocks.

The special quarter's losses were paper losses and the real loss
was sequentially better from past quarter.
Cash position is better...

Not SOOO bad.
In my opinion the stock is showing strength due to the investor's
perception (Right or Wrong) that Jobs is the man who can actually
make SOMETHING happen here other than just downsize the company to
accomodate to its demand in sales.

AAPL is not in a business where you could have any
administrator come in and manage things with skill, etc., your
typical MBA graduate.

You need someone who can actually reinvent Apple Computer.
Who better than the original inventor?

Take care,

Fernando
