May I suggest there is a complimentary and ironic problem in the white population - young marrieds who vow NOT have kids.

I work with a guy like that. He told me that as casually as if he were telling me about their decision to buy a new Mercedes. I gently probed to see if he was kidding but no, he was dead serious.

I don't know him well enough to tell him what I really think about it. Socially, I suppose I should have said congratulations on picking one of the 3000 alternatives to the traditional family.
