Yes, but there is some similarity <<<advantage of OFDM over CDMA is far less than the advantage of CDMA over GSM>>

Isn't this a bit like comparing grapefruits to kumquats and subsequently throwing in different types of oranges? How do you figure this ???

They are all fruit. That's a start. They are much more alike than kumquats and potatoes, or grapefruit and seaweed, or oranges and rocks. They seem more like sauvignon blanc compared with chardonnay [non technical people wouldn't know the difference].

So far, the bet that ofdm would take over slowly has been a very good bet. It is now 10 years since we first discussed ofdm as a competitive threat. Cassius Clay's whole boxing championship lasted only that long, including the Ali phase. Incidentally, I had no idea at the time of the implications of his adoption of Moslem doctrine. I wonder if ofdm will be adopted across the USA before Islam? Are ofdm and Islam as comparable as kumquats and oranges?

The main similarity among various fruit is probably how low-hanging they are, rather than the design of the fruit. Fruit up high is probably sour grapes.
