I agree with you. I think the winner of MCI will be GTE with some dotted line relationship to BT. This combination gives the most bang for the buck since it brings together 3 distinct fields of expertise. The GTE management should be able to pull this off. Notice how quickly MCI responded to the offer. I just hope they pick a classy name for this new combo.
