When it comes down to it...the idea is to WIN. Adlai Stevenson might have been the greatest President EVER, but the guy couldn't win...so he's just a "footnote" in American Politics. Thomas Dewey might have been the greatest President EVER, but he too is just a "footnote". A MORON like Bush figured out (at the Iowa Caucus in 1988) that it could probably help him a bunch in politics if he suddenly found Christ. He DID and he got elected Governor twice and President twice. So, DON'T tell me that you're so suddenly worried about CHARACTER in your Presidential Candidates after you supported that sleazy slimy hypocritical Bush in the last two elections.
