Thanks for the article. I thought it was interesting that they did not reference the long-term price, which has been steady at $90 for a long time now. So an increase in the spot price from $57 to $90 will just bring it back in line with the long-term price. It seems to me that fundamentals drive the long-term price trend but speculation and manipulation drive the short-term spot price volatility. One thing I wonder about is whether the industry has the manufacturing capacity to fulfill all of the plans that are on the drawing boards for new power plants.
