Cause & effect: During Clinton's 8YEARS in the WH, binLaden's al Qaeda was gathering strength--it and the 9/11 terrorist plot were entirely financed by Osama's deep pockets. If Bill Clinton had had the courage at that time to flaunt pressures from the UN and had decisively apprehended OBL, 3000 American lives would not have been lost. Instead, like all Democrat Presidents, Clinton buckled to international demands and refused to take OBL into custody when it was possible.

Today OBL is in hiding(or more likely DEAD), his financial & communications network for alQaeda was disrupted by the Bush Adm; and the US troop surge suggested by John McCain is a huge success; therefore, currently Osama's apprehension or death would merely serve to create a martyr for the insane Islamic terrorists cause.
