GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: June 23, 2008 Gulf production is up about 0.1 Bcf/d compared to levels on Friday. Independence Hub flows stand at 886 MMcf/d compared to 833 MMcf/d in Friday's I2 cycle and 944 MMcf/d last Monday. NGPL receipts in the Texas onshore are up about 70 MMcf/d in the last week but Transco flows are down 107 MMcf/d. In the federal offshore, Destin receipts are down about 50 MMcf/d from levels seen last Monday. Tennessee receipts in the LA onshore area have dropped nearly 70 MMcf/d in the last week.

US POWER - GAS BURN REPORT: June 23, 2008 US power burn jumps a net 300 MMcf this morning to just below 19 Bcf.Southeast burn increased the most, up nearly 0.5 Bcf from yesterday.June 08 burn is outpacing June 07 burn by 6%, or over 1.3 Bcf per day.Total power burn this week is estimated to come in at a relatively docile 143 Bcf, only 3 Bcf higher than last week.Burn for the week ending 7/3 will be near 191 Bcf in total.
