Bob Lutz is hoping Volt is needed for the public with less than 40 mile range to travel daily. And Lithium batteries are not fire hazard. Or Cobalt and Aveo will sell if they don't make bigger cars and trucks anymore. GM will only lose market shares as usual.

I don't see Ford or Toyota selling much(none) small cars, delivering to New England dealers.

$4 gas has $3 fuel consumption tax. Economical stimulus check is refund on fuel consumption tax payment?
