I guess not.

I'm not irreversably opposed to a 45 year old president; however, I would expect such a person to have conducted his/her life in a way that prepared him for the office. Obama hasn't.

I think it would be fair to say that he is the least experienced candidate to run for president in modern history. Even Dan Quayle was far more experienced than Obama.

He just hasn't done anything, except to teach school part time and then hold a Senate seat that he received, almost as a designee, for a couple years. It really is absolute amateur hour.

Now, that is not to say that he cannot conceivably make a good president -- there are certainly instances of inexperienced people rising to the occasion in a job they are underqualified for. Happens every day. But it is a rather substantial crapshoot at this critical time in the history of the nation.
