I believe he is 45, which means he is 10 years past the absolute minimum established by the Constitution.

He will be 47 on 4 August.

But the thing is that he isn't very accomplished for a presidential candidate. In fact, there isn't one significant accomplishment Obama fanatics can point to that truly indicates a qualification for the office. Law school, community organizer, part time teacher, a few years as a part time Senator -- none of these constitute the kind of experience and track record required.

In your opinion.......and I, of course, disagree.

Consider Bill Clinton, for example (who was a terrible president, for sure).

Again, we disagree.

At 27 he was making his first run for political office, at 30 he was elected state AG and at 32, governor. When Clinton ran, at 46, he had substantial experience under his belt (no pun) as a politician, AG, governor and administrator.

I don't care. Just as I knew in my gut in 2000 Bush would be a terrible president, I know Obama will be a great one.......one of our best.
