Barry, Compaq 2200 has a Cyrix MediaGX 180Mhz processor with 16Mb RAM 2Gb hard drive, 33.6 modem, speakers, 12xCDROM, etc. for $699 or $799. Monitor is extra. 16Mb RAM is about a $40 difference. What type of usage is Jim going to using this for? For Engineering and Graphic applicatons he should use the PII for regular office work...go with the 2200 and upgrade the RAM to 32. Mike
