One of the things that bothers me about EcoRam is the write speed. Raj was about to talk about it when he got interrupted, as I remember it. He did manage to say that the system would not be held up. I don't know what they're doing but the Flash write speed can't be slower than the system or you will soon have a Lucy and Ethel in the chocolate factory situation. Even in systems that are mainly read if you hit a situation where lots of updates are occurring the system will bog and that's not good. To me writing seems like the rat in the soup if there is one. I guess we'll find out more about this as time progresses. Also, I'm wondering if this is an all EcoRam for Dram replacement or if there may still be some Dram in the system? The pictures of the DIMMs seemed to show only EcoRAM.
