If the purchase of a black market nuke were as easy as you suggest, wouldn't a nation like Iran be more likely to be a customer that some loosely knit religious wack job terrorist outfit. For a nation like Iran (and according to Bush they are desperately trying to make a nuke)it would be far easier and cheaper to buy one rather than build one. They have control over their own resources (lots of oil) and land, have an army, and a large population that supports them.....fanatics are not necessary. They have unlimited funds and the expertise necessary to handle a nuke.... Why wouldn't a rich roque nation be the most likely customer? Why do they have an extensive program of their own.?
