Protecting Martinez' identity is a HELL of a lot more important than protecting the identity of Plame who was not undercover and was not involved in any kind of field work.

More importantly, the disclosure was pointless, served no purpose whatsoever but to damage the individual in question, and was nothing more than liberal mean spiritedness.

The day the NYT goes bankrupt like other papers across the country will be a fine day, indeed. They deserve it. A national embarrassment.
