Germany elected the conservative Merkel because the Christian Dems. were not turning around Germany's economic problems. I guessed you missed the vid last year when Merkel cringed as Bush try to touch her. As for Sarkozy, he is in the same party as Chirac.....they are both conservatives. And then there is Italy......Italy re elected that asshole.....first because they are Italian which is synonymous for crazy, and secondly because they are desperate. It had nothing to do with Bush. In the meantime, several Euro countries have placed in power governments not friendly to Bush.....Spain, Poland and Hungary.........and of course, Blair was forced to retire. Bottom line: Europe hasn't warmed to Bush but they ARE warming to Obama.
