It sounds like Dean and Obama are on the same page. The Dems, strategically, seem to be getting their act together. That won't help the Reps in the short or long term...

It was only in the last couple of weeks of the primary did I begin to worry that HRC would not drop out of the race. Up til then, I thought what was happening in the Dem primary was mostly a good thing. It put the Dems on parade and showed how a democracy should work. The other concern I had was money.....but it seems Americans are willing to pay for getting a good president in place, and so, I no longer think money will be a problem. In other words, its all good.

As for Howard Dean.......I think he is the most undervalued man in the land....why I will never understand. The guy is an MD from VT.....he suffers no fools. His 50 state strategy which most people in the Dem party trashed, including the Clinton contingency, is turning out to be one of the smartest moves the Dems could have made. I am glad to see Obama embracing it.

Texas Democrats are five seats away in each chamber from control of the state legislature, which will redraw congressional districts after the 2010 census.

The above statement really surprised me. What say you, CJ? I thought TX was Bush/GOPland!
