Add in about 500 more etc's and you may begin to understand that what you "pay dearly for" is a huge bargain. Who in the hell are YOU to say whether I get a "bargin" from government? I don't want the Welfare State. I don't want to provide scholarships for some people because their ancestors are slaves. I don't want to pay for contraceptives or abortions for teenagers. I don't want a massive, bloated department of education interfering with the education of my kids. I don't want a bridge to nowhere, and I sure as hell don't want someone telling me I can only drive a car that gets n miles per gallon. I just want government to butt-the-f out and let me run my own business. Maybe you feel you are unable to manage your life on your own; I'm fully capable of doing so. If you want government to "help" you go for it. But don't impose this bullshit on people who don't want it. Doesn't that seem fair?
