I have no idea where gold is going. I just know that if all those
mutual funds suddenly decide they need an inflation hedge this
market will not just explode it will go off like a fusion bomb.

My current worry, however, is that deflation is returning. So
I was sort of planning on buying HL and FSCNY if they get
down near $5. I sold them at $5.5 last time for a healthy,
safe (I think) profit, and I think it's safe to do it again. Right
now I am leaning toward the SA producer as they are so
cheap relative to US producers.

I know that coin collectors are buying all the gold they can
get their hands on. Finally all those speculators have given
up, and prices have dropped to close to bullion on a lot of
old gold coins.
