two HUGE facts which are not Carter's fault at all, the collosal Vietnam War debt which hgit during Carter's years, and the massive revolt of the oil-rich Arabs against the west.

The "VN war debt" was no bigger for him than for Reagan. Oil prices were in decline when he took office. The sabotage of the Shah led to revolution in Iran which shrunk their oil industry. Saddam saw an opportunity to try to seize Iran's oil reserves starting a war which took more oil off the market. So Carter largely started that problem.

Also, I suspect Carter's daring hostage rescue mission to Iran was sabotaged by Ollie North type traitors

Yes he would have. I think he micro-managed it and mixed forces from different services w/o concern for how it would all work togethter.

Also, Carter had a wonderful huge solar energy program he started which would have had us off Arab oil 100% by now.

Sure it would have. We'd have solar powered planes and cars.

Reagan scrapped the whole thing at the behe4st of corrupt big oil tycoons.

Even though some of those oil guys wasted billions of their own money on solar ideas that never worked out.

Finally, Carter is the ONLY true Christian president we have had in our lifetimes. Next to him, Bush is a devil worshipper.
