Not true when the TOTAL tax burden is considered and expressed as a percentage of total income.

There are plenty of mathematical transformations you can apply to the "TOTAL TAX BURDEN" to get a desired result. There is no question that high income earners are taxed most in the only metric that matters -- the number of dollars one pays.

If you want to make up a different metric to get a different result, you are certainly free to do so.
