At street level very few grasp what is going on. Not very optimist. They have been beaten so much in the 'Lost Decade' and they are cautious as hell. They are afraid of being happy. New generation will grow without the memory of the 'Lost Decade and will enjoy. Rio is booming towards Barra da Tijuca, leaving the old city behind.
