In this country, it takes twice the effort, twice the brilliance for a person of color and someone from the female sex to ascend to the top. It is not t hat Barack met that performance but more so that the American people set that bar and that they no recognize that a person finally has reached that bar. It is the recognition and acceptance unlike in a nation where there are only people of color; Zimbabwe.
