<< If you don't recall the technical debate, go back and look at the dialogue, but don't try to dilute my statement with irrelevant rhetoric. >>

Where in my statement did I suggest that I didn't recall the technical debate? I recall it quite well. In fact I was the one who transcribed the SQNT CC to this thread, where O'Hara claimed that it wasn't ANCR's fault.
Would you like me to find it for you?

<< Can you provide me with the reference to a guaranteed $6 million? I don't remember that and obviously it was not important to me. >>

I most definitely can. It should be important to you. Here is the link for the transcription of Kerry Lee's comments following a CC after the SQNT contract announcement. I trust you consider Kerry Lee a reliable enough source?

"Clint Morrison, analyst for John G. Kinnard asked about Sequent. Steve O'Hara stated that the initial order was for $2 million. The agreement calls for a guaranteed minimum of $6 million over 12 months. They will ship $1.5 - 2.0 million to Sequent in the 4th Qtr, although there will be some nitial shipments dribbling out in the 3rd qtr also. The $30 million value quoted in the press release was taking Sequent's
Marketing Dept sales forecast and Ancor scaled it back significantly to reach the $30 million estimate. Steve feels comfortable with the $30 million."

Now, who wants to talk about how CEO's don't lie to analysts? Or keep their promises? (Take your pick. It's got to be one or the other)

How about this? What ever became of this?

SUNW will use Ancor's switch with their SPARC workstations..order of magnitude..Non-Disclosure Agreement with SUNW. (Hot Dog's interpretation: at least double that of SQNT on a going year basis).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How about this one? They didn't introduce it until late in the 3Q. A day late and a dollar short, AGAIN.
Next generation Ancor switch product is under development "as we speak"..expect introduction by 1st qtr 1997.
I suggest that you read the prior two posts as well. They highlight other things from the CC.
Here are some excerpts:
Steve reiterated that a Sun deal will happen during the latter half of the year. I asked if they could elaborate on the order of magnitude of the deal in relation to SQNT. Lee replied by saying there was a non-disclosure in place.
The company has submitted a proposal for a NASDAQ big board listing and expects the process to take from 6-8 weeks. I don't think the Institutions will be far behind.
Never happened
ANCR still has $8 million in cash from the Reg-S, enough to get by for the next "couple ofyears" according to Lee...
Outright lie? Seems to me like if this statement was true ANCR should have had enough cash to last until May of '98. Your right ANCR bulls, Lee Lewis should be gone. He is as bad as O'Hara.
Would you like me to continue, George/Eleder2020?
