Yes, that's true and it's a great point.

But if you reread my post, I am suggesting buying airlines which have just exited the bankruptcy process and have low levels of debt, renegotiated contracts, etc.

I agree a lot of airlines will go through bankruptcy. But part of the process is a restructuring of the business and it does not mean just as much capacity on a go-forward basis.

This is bullish for those (i.e. Delta) which have been there done that and have secured the most lucrative routes.

On a side note, I found the Consumer Confidence numbers at 20 or something year lows to be quite bullish. How much lower can it go?
