what happens to the oil when they drill here. already refineries are exporting diesel because they can get higher prices in china, eu or india. I expect oil companies will sell the oil on the open market , how will the united states consumer realize any cheaper prices at the pump? Most likely if oil is developed it will be replacing oil fields that are depleted or running out of oil in the world. What ever they develop unless some type of law to control the flow of oil will not prevent them from export it for highest price.

I wonder will that be windfall profits for oil companies?
