A shift on hedge funds?

forbes.com

From the article----

"free market.

-- Disclosure. Hedge funds prefer not to disclose their positions, as it can compromise the profitability of their strategies. By forcing hedge funds and others to disclose short positions, the FSA may unintentionally be encouraging other investors to follow this money and enter into shorts as well. "

Disagree with the statement above----LEVEL THE PLAYING FIELD---FULL DISCLOSURE BY HEDGE FUNDS AND ALL FUNDS UPDATED DAILY.

This is what imo is at the heart of the declines in the market, the playing field is skewed in the direction of the hedge funds.

The hedge funds can take a stock down rapidly and destroy it ---so while they are doing their damage------mom and pop are wondering why their portfolio of long stocks are being damaged----the very stocks that the brokerage houses are aiding the hedge funds in buying and selling.
