You are indeed correct. But most big money Wall Streeters prefer to live in Manhattan. The price I am paying for my quarter of an acre house a mere 30 minute express train ride to Manhattan, in one of the best public high schools in NY/NJ/CT would get me a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment at best in Manhattan.
