Tony; Jill is a very nice person, all those who run SI are. I was the one who christened her the webmistress, she liked it and used it. I guess we must post a frenzy to make it hit the bigtime. However it is not my style to fake it that way.
Longer paths do limit speeds, I often wondered if they could have a clock that was so fast that opposite sides of the board were out of phase with each other. As long as the system knows about ti it can deal with it. An analog to the pulse type propagation of the Alpha rhythm through our heads which functions in a clock analog manner with chemical signals.(13 Hertz)
Yes Bob was into servicing banks. The Toronto office got radically downsized after the freetrade agreement, and he left for a farm equipment company.
