Thanks Dabum for your explanation.

When I mentioned CALM, I was referring to a stock with a very small float, and the long term chart. CALM may have enough liquidity to trade right now, but a year ago that wasn't the case. The same could be said for ROYL, which can be very thinly traded at times. (I don't own a position in either of these companies, but I have traded and owned them in the past.)

I do see your point of not being biased by the fundamentals of a company, and just looking at a chart.

Thanks for your charts and your explanation of why you feel a stock might be in a trend either long or short.
