We haven't, we've done zero. And now we're in perpetual hock to Muslim dictators. The biggest failure of political will in this generation.

KLP, those were sensationalist articles backed by no science - very unlike the situation now. Back then, NASA, USGS, IPCC, National Academy of Sciences did not publish studies backing up global cooling. No - global cooling was the claims of a few extremists, with no major studies behind them, and pushed by a few magazine covers.
Global warming, in contrast, is a scientific consensus backed by thousands of studies. Thus, the two are not commensurate.
And, whether you believe this or not, the fact is, people are being *already* being forced to adapt. I've seen this myself in China. |
