One of our sons goes there regularly. That's why I said China will beat us if we're not very careful. Their kids are forced to study from about 5 am to 10 pm....there are plants there with 100,000+ people working 3 shifts a day 'round the clock making electronic widgets....working from 6 am till 10 pm... What China has done is bring the peasants out of the fields and forced them to work in the manufacturing plants to bring the country into the 21st century. China has how 1.3++ BILLION people now. And we have 300 Million...20+Million of whom seem to be able to come in and out at will, and collect funds, goods and services that people who have contributed to the country over the years have worked to provide.... Re oil....We need new refineries. Period. I believe that Canada, Mexico and Venezuela in that order are our major suppliers of oil.. But if there isn't enough refinery space, what good does it do to just have oil...?
