Point taken... I was really responding to something charles said. I should have been more clear.

If there's enough money in little gadgets like iPods to turn around Apple, then there might similarly be enough money in some gadget for Sun.

Maybe I read that wrong, but it goes with the concept that SUN was going to compete with MS another primarily consumer product company that at the expense of SUN has developed a large IT presence.
