If that's what you took away from 'How to Catch a Wild Hog' then you're a fricken rock. It's about insidious socialism is and how socialism can grow by offering 'free corn'. THERE IS NO FREE CORN, WE PAY FOR IT ALL THROUGH OUR TAXES. But the most insidious thing about it is that it replaces individual responsibility with dependency!
