While it may be true that membership in a militia was anticipated by the framers, NEVER, EVER was it suggested in any way that gun ownership was contingent upon membership in any militia. Never.

The FF would sh*t to see how you all have interpretated the right to bear arms and how violent this country has become. Shove your interpretation of the 2nd amendment up your butt where the sun don't shine!
