File this under no one will give a hoot, but I just got home from 3+ hours of picnicking with my old high school gang. Class of 1954 and we picnic the last Saturday of June every year. We had about 25 alums and spouses show up and it was wonderful. We tell the same stories each year and they still get laughs. It serves to remind all of us how blessed we are. Now, a couple of friends have terminal illnesses. Many, many have had major surgeries on back and limbs. Several were with canes or walked with difficulty. Not a smoker in the bunch, and we all smoked back "when". I'm tired, smelly, sunburned and full of fried chicken. Can't wait until next year.
