The volatility does make it all more interesting. At first, I didn't like the demise of the up-tick rule, but now I think it can work quite well for those who can hit and run... a tactic that works quite well in many ways. Long term though with 10% annual GDP growth, this red puppy is going much higher. I have heard people talk about a "slow-down" to 8% GDP growth! What would we do in the US with 8% GDP growth?! There'd be mass partying in the streets... The volatility in individual names there is even better than the FXI, IMO.
